Good morning everyone! I’ve got some really exciting news to share with you all. Over the next little while, Solace will be going through some wonderful new changes and a fresh new look. Over the next few months, the website and Facebook page will focus more specifically on anger and mental health. Hence, based on a collection of positive feedback, Solace will soon be renamed to “Free the Anger.”
Free the Anger will emphasize a lot more specifically on that emotion we all love, which is anger! With Free the Anger, my goal is to focus on healthy ways of exploring our anger which ultimately means helping us navigate through our mental health. For those of us who experienced forms of childhood trauma, it truly is important to engage in more meaningful discussions and understanding of our buried feelings of anger. This allows us the opportunity for healing and ultimately a happier and healthier life.
What else will be new? Well, I’m glad you asked! I’ll also be posting a lot more videos and presentations on Free the Anger that will talk about our “favorite” emotion along with tips, facts and lots of deep perspectives on how it’s connected to our mental health such as depression and anxiety. Some of these presentations are the ones I’ve used at mental health conferences and events. This way, I get to share what I do worldwide to people I don’t get the opportunity to meet!
My friend once told me that “change is the only constant” and “we can only learn to improve ourselves and our surroundings through change.” I’m really excited about this upcoming change and I look forward to sharing it with you.
